Winter Adaptive Sports and Recreation Programs

Check out the Adaptive Sports and Recreation Programs available this winter through the Sudbury Park and Recreation Department! All programs are available to anyone from any community. Registration will open on Wednesday, December 7th at 9:00 am.

Asperger's Syndrome vs. Autism vs. PDD-NOS

Dr. Amy Shogren will present on Autism spectrum disorders. Asperger's Syndrome vs. Autism vs. PDD-NOS How do the features of each of these diagnoses vary? How do children diagnosed with these developmental disabilities differ in their communicative competency, social functioning, behavioral presentation, and academic trajectory? What interventions are important to address the challenges associated with these disabilities? This seminar will assist parents and school personnel in understanding these diagnostic categories and how to intervene at home and at school.
