September 10, 2011
The Medway Schools are underway and running. We are happy to report that there’s a ton of new energy in and out of our schools. That means change, positive change!!!! We have an enthusiastic and highly motivated executive PAC membership this year. The PAC is finalizing this year’s agenda, and it’s actively looking to reach out and gather new membership. So keep looking back on this web site for new information.
The Medway SEPAC is actively looking to streamline and pursue new opportunities for our district. The agenda for this year is going to be exciting and supportive. Our team is eager to work with our Director of Student Services; Kathleen Bernklo. We will be meeting with her on a monthly basis.
The 1st MSEPAC meeting will be a meet and greet with Kat Bernklow on Tuesday, September 13th 7 PM at the high school guidance area. Thanks to Medway Girl Scout troop #74942-- There will be free babysitting; the childcare will be offered from 7p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Room #107 of the high school.
So please remember, you don’t need to be in crisis to attend our meetings, forums, coffees or presentations. Drop by and connect with one of us and learn something new and pass it along…

Whether you are just starting to learn about special education or you have been receiving services for many years. It’s a great time to jump in and become involved with PAC as we work for understanding of, respect for, and support of all children with special needs in the our community.
What does Parent Advisory Council do? We offer information and opportunities for Parents of children in preschool, elementary, middle, high school and in private schools in Medway. We have monthly meetings, presentations on a variety of topics in advocacy, information, and community resources for our families. We offer tools, strategies, and as much information as is possible to parents and children with special needs.
Who we are? Our membership is open to parents or (guardians) of children who have Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 plan or anyone interested in special education in Medway. We are parents of children who have learning differences. We are a resource for support, networking, and information.
Your participation will provide a unique opportunity for you in interact and connect with other parents who are going through the same issues you are. Our meetings are a place where you can ask questions and discuss concerns, and learn something new. Your personal input is extremely valuable to our community.
What we are not-- personal special educational advocates, but we can lead you to resources and give you support. You are not alone!
