Welcome to the Medway's Special Education Parent Advisory Council

The Medway Parents' Advisory Council is an all-volunteer group of parents who assist in educating our community of parents with children with learning issues and special needs. The MSEPAC also works collaboratively with administrators and staff to help improve the experience of students, parents, and staff in supporting children in need of special education services.

We offer resources, tools, strategies, and as much information as is possible to parents, caregivers of children with special needs. Please come and take advantage of this opportunity to learn from each other.

Everyone is invited to our meetings, presentations and workshops. Please bring a friend, our meetings are free. Just come over and listen. The discussions can be lively. The information is always timely and heartfelt.

Beyond information sessions, it is our intent to offer parents the opportunity to the network, get questions answered and find support at our meetings. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Please spread the word and bring a friend to any of the Medway SEPAC meetings.

Massachusetts state law requires each school district to create a district-wide parent advisory council (PAC) offering memberships to all parents and guardians of students receiving special services and other interested parties.

The PAC's duties include advising the district on matters that pertain to the education and safety of children with disabilities. The PAC shall also meet regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the school district's special education programs
